Although it was a concept originally\u00a0aimed at companies (European Commission Green Paper\u00a0\u2013 2001), several public institutions\u00a0have started to\u00a0adopt\u00a0procedures\u00a0towards\u00a0social<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>responsibility,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>understandable\u00a0within<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>several areas, that\u00a0is present in the Postgraduate Program of the Faculty of Law of\u00a0the University of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>S\u00e3o Paulo (USP<\/span>).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this sense, within the scope of teaching<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0research and\u00a0also the\u00a0extension\u00a0courses, the\u00a0Program develops several activities\u00a0aimed at\u00a0the\u00a0social\u00a0responsibility, in search of a\u00a0fairer\u00a0and less unequal society, with respect to the primacies\u00a0ESG \u2013 Environmental<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0Social and Governance.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>This implies activities developed\u00a0on a more environmentally sustainable\u00a0basis<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0be it in the ecological sphere, at work or in\u00a0what\u00a0involves\u00a0it<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0in order to mitigate negative externalities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This\u00a0occurs in teaching activities when knowledge is\u00a0taught\u00a0based on\u00a0such guiding principles, especially for the reduction of regional inequalities. Among other actions, the Program created by the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Pro-Rectory of Post<\/span>–<\/span>graduation<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0and immediately implemented by the CPG-FD<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>allows\u00a0the possibility of master or doctoral students from other<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Postgraduate degrees\u00a0to join<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the Program,\u00a0take\u00a0advantage of the\u00a0credits ,\u00a0enjoy academic coexistence<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0use\u00a0the bibliographic collection and other facilities. The same profile of reducing regional inequalities, although\u00a0it is not\u00a0the only\u00a0parameter<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>is present in\u00a0the\u00a0post-doctoral activities coordinated by the research commission of the Faculty of Law, and\u00a0developed jointly, by the Post-graduation Commission.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The social responsibility<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is also present in the research area, which is developed<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>under the ethical\u00a0principles established by the Ethics Commission in\u00a0Research\u00a0of the\u00a0Law<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>School\u00a0and also by the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (USP),<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>through which\u00a0all the researches\u00a0are conducted\u00a0and encompass\u00a0human beings,\u00a0the basis of many\u00a0field<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>works\u00a0in different areas, as\u00a0for\u00a0example\u00a0the ones<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>that comprise,\u00a0either the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>family\u00a0Law or the prison population.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Another approach\u00a0occurs\u00a0in the scope of extension activities, through actions\u00a0focused on supporting government\u2019s\u00a0activities,\u00a0by\u00a0participating\u00a0in public committees, to improve\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Government\u2019s\u00a0norms or actions\u00a0in\u00a0which many teachers\u00a0have<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>part, among others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The actions symbolize active citizenship activities,\u00a0the\u00a0key\u00a0characteristic of\u00a0the\u00a0almost bicentennial Law\u00a0School\u00a0of the\u00a0University\u00a0of S\u00e3o Paulo\u00a0(USP) and incorporated into the everyday life<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of the actions in the area of\u00a0Post<\/span>–<\/span>graduation.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
