It is forbidden to charge fees for whatever reason, either for regular enrolment or for enrolment in subjects offered by the University, in the Master’s and Doctorate courses, of regularly enrolled students.
It is forbidden the simultaneous enrolment in more than one Post-Graduation course of the University of São Paulo.

The student enrolled in the Master’s or Doctorate Course will be able to take the maternity/paternity leave, during which the counting of the statutory regular terms is interrupted, from the date of birth or adoption. Requests after the acquisition period will not be accepted.
New enrolment
The incoming student who had been a Post-Graduation student before, at USP, and that was disconnected from the course, without having completed the Master’s or Doctorate, in any of the Programs, will have to make a new enrolment. For this, after being approved in the selection process, he must file the application for a new enrolment, which must be made with the following documents:
I-Student’s justification
II-Adviser’s consent (detailed opinion)
III-Work plan approved by the adviser
IV-School history of the previous course
The new enrolment shall be released by the Post-Graduation Commission and registered in the Janus system, within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of the request. After that date, the student will lose the access to the Janus system and the course will be blocked.
The student whose request is approved, will be considered a new student. Consequently, he must comply with all the requirements to which the incoming students are subject, being able to take advantage of the credits taken in the last 36 months, at the discretion of the adviser.
