Accreditation / Re-Accreditation of Disciplines

The disciplines that make up the list of the Post-Graduation Program must be proposed by the professor(s) responsible for them, to the Council of the respective Department, which in case of approval, will be in charge of forwarding them to the Commission of Post-Graduation for analysis and deliberation, under the terms of the articles 62 to 65 of the Resolution no.7.493, dated March, 2018 ( Regulation of the post-Graduation of USP).  

To analyse the requirements for accreditation of disciplines, the CPG will appoint a rapporteurwhose opinion emphasizes the merit and importance of the discipline in the program or area of concentration, as well as the specific competence of the responsible professors. 

Every five years, accredited disciplines should be submitted to the re-accreditation process, if there is an interest in their updating and continuity.
