The Program of Academic Excellence from CAPES (Coordination for the improvement of higher level personnel) aims to maintain the quality standard of Post-Graduation Programs, with grade 6 0r 7, which belong to legal institutions of public and private law, adequately meeting the needs and specificities.
The Post-Graduation Program of the USP Law School is inserted in the Proex and receives a budget allocation that can be used according to established priorities, by the Post-Graduation Commission, in any of the support modalities granted by CAPES, such as: granting of scholarships, as well as funding resources, support for investment in laboratories, cost of preparing dissertations and theses, tickets, events, publications, among others.
The scholarships granted in the ambit of the Proex are also managed by the Post-Graduation Commission, which is responsible for selecting and monitoring scholarship holders, according to CAPES’ guidelines.
