The process of accreditation, re-accreditation and disqualification of lecturers is conducted by the Post-Graduation Commission, to the extent that the requirements stipulated in the CPG Regulation:FDUSP no.07:2019 are met or not.
Accreditation is understood as the authorization from the Post-Graduation Commission for professors to participate in teaching research, tutoring and extension activities. The re-accreditation is understood as the subsequent accreditation, without an interval, of professors already active in the Program.
The professors who opt for disqualification, or who do not have their request for the re-accreditation approved, and still have student’s orientation in progress, will be able to continue with the tutoring activity, until the date of the dissertation/thesis defence of the students under their orientation, but without the possibility of assuming new tutoring.
