Objetivos:
Estudar os movimentos de proteção da propriedade intelectual do fim do século XIX até os dias de hoje: Partindo das Convenções de Paris e de Berna até chegarmos à OMC-TRIPS. Certamente, o banco central é o regime internacional da propriedade intelectual do TRIPS, isto é, aquele inaugurado nos anos 90, razão pela qual analisar-se-ão os efeitos do TRIPS no direito internacional da propriedade intelectual originado com as Uniões de Paris e de Berna, assim como as implicações institucionais decorrentes das relações entre o TRIPS/OMC e a OMPL Ênfase será dada ao estudo dos efeitos do TRIPS no direito do comércio internacional e no direito brasileiro. Da mesma forma, examinar-se-á a relação entre o direito internacional da propriedade intelectual
e o sistema de proteção dos direitos humanos.
